Document Requirements

  • Valid Identification: Each signing party must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Health cards are not accepted). Ensure the name on your ID matches the document.
  • Original Documents: Present all original documents to the Notary Public for verification. For Certified True Copies, both the original and the copy must be reviewed.
  • Document Completion: Complete all forms and sections before your visit.
  • Signatures and Dates: Leave these areas blank until in the presence of the Notary Public.

What You Need To Do

  • To ensure prompt service it is always best to call us directly at 289-259-7169 before attending, however we do accept walk-ins.
  • Bring your documents, our office is located on the 2nd floor of 4145 North Service Road, Burlington, ON. Notary services are available (Mon. – Fri. 11 am – 5:00 pm, and by appointment only Sat. 10 am – 3 pm). 
  • On the second floor, Mon- Fri. click on the buzzer that is attached to the Grant Lee Law (G.L.L) clipboard, and have a seat, our staff will come out to meet you. 
  • On Saturdays, you must call first and wait outside at the front of the building, facing North service Road, at the agreed upon time.  You will not be able to enter the building without our assistance on Saturdays. 
  • IMPORTANT:  Please note there is another notary service provider on the 2nd floor, so be sure to buzz the G.L.L. buzzer! 
  • The person at the reception counter Mondays through Fridays, is not a member of G.L.L. and will not be able to address any questions about our services.
