How Does it Work?

• Lawyers and clients sign a Participation Agreement, which is a binding contract committing them to work together honestly, openly and in good faith to reach a solution.
• The parties agree that they will not go to court. If the process breaks down and the parties go to court, both lawyers must withdraw and no member of either of their firms may represent the clients in subsequent court action.
• None of the reports developed by any of the specialist can be used by either party in court.
These rules encourage the parties to stay the course even when things become difficult,and to work hard to reach a mutually acceptable resolution that they created for their family.
